Cinder began taking mushroom complex supplements a few months ago. She had trouble walking and climbing the stairs and slept all day. 14 year old Cinder does have more energy and acts more puppy-ish when she has her mushroom complex treats.
I like these because I do not need to guess at the dosage. One treat is plenty for her size (she's about 15 pounds now). These can be used for dogs under 30 pounds to over 90 pounds by adjusting how many treats they get per day. They do have a mushroom smell, but it isn't overwhelming.
Cinder likes them because they are separate from her kibble and she thinks it's a special thing. She has more energy, and is acting more alert. Cinder doesn't have any problems digesting these. They are very easy to use, just put one in my hand and she gobbles it up. So, she obviously likes the taste. These are a good value for the money.
